Go to 5021 Tilden Ave, Sherman Oaks, where there's a small parking lot beside a grassy area. Bring your own picnic dinner and a treat to share, and we'll have music games, "jamming" on fiddle tunes, world music, and Suzuki pieces. Bring your duet books and wear your SMPLA t-shirts! SMPLA Co-Directors and teachers will host an orientation over Zoom to provide free information about our program. If you know families with children playing violin or guitar in the Suzuki method, these parents are welcome. Hopefully, staying home will help “flatten the curve” and we can all stay out of the path of the Corona Virus.
Please take this time to enjoy practicing at home, and make small and great advances in your Suzuki repertoire! Consider staging a concert for your family members at home playing through the repertoire you already know! What a great way to review. Wishing everyone a healthy and restful couple of weeks. |
