Suzuki OrganizationsSMAC/LA: Suzuki Music Association of California/Los Angeles BranchA non-profit organization of Suzuki teachers and families in the Los Angeles area who support and promote the principles and ideals of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. Important musical resources offered through SMAC/LA include sponsoring the Student Institute each summer, the Chamber Music Workshop, Teacher Training, Graduations, and providing some financial aid for these events to member students and teachers.
SAA: Suzuki Association of the AmericasA coalition of teachers, parents, educators, and others who are interested in making music education available to all children. It is the non-profit organization officially licensed to support, guide, and promote Dr. Suzuki's Talent Education in North, Central, and South America. The SAA was founded in 1972 and currently has about 8,000 members. It provides programs and services to members throughout the Americas.
