The Suzuki Music Association of California (SMAC) is a charitable nonprofit organization 501(c)3 serving Suzuki communities throughout California that is dedicated to promoting the teaching of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. As a Chapter of the Los Angeles Branch of SMAC, Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles (SMPLA) brings Suzuki teachers and students together for play-ins, ensemble classes, public outreach performances, solo recitals and more. SMPLA teachers are trained in the Suzuki Method™ and philosophy on violin, viola, and guitar. They provide group lessons in Tarzana through their 'Suzuki Ensembles' program.
